Who knows compact tractors and is willing to give me adivce on a purchase?

I’m searching for a used (but perhaps new is better) compact tractor which I know must be a 4×4 but don’t know the first thing about what else to look before prior to purchase. I will need it to build a new driveway, dig a small pond, make a pad for a shop/garage, and much more. I believe I would like a backhoe attachment also. I have to many questions to ask here so if someone who REALLY knows tractors (like I know dirtbikes) can help please email me and I will list all my questions and would appreciate your advice so much prior to spending many thousands. Thank You.

aarrgg backhoe attachments on compact tractors, such a bad idea! First off are you looking for a real tractor or an over glorified lawn and garden tractor? can you drive a standard gear box or do you have the money to fix a hydrostatic when it breaks? not that there bad but the initial cost and PM can take it’s toll. especially when you know nothing about tractors, so lets see, sounds like you need at least a 30 HP tractor/w loader, scraper box and back hoe attachment, however do not buy a tractor that has had a back hoe on it, this tractor will be wore out and beat to death, there’s lots to chose from, Kabota, Kyote, John Deere, Case to name a few of the good ones however I prefer the New Hollands, or old Fords, and in your case I’d be looking for a TC 30 with low hours loader, scraper and purchase a new back hoe attachment from whoever your local vendor deals with, I’ve had good luck with the original NH or Bush hog, seem to be built pretty good, and the hook up and removal wont cost you any fingers, but your still going to want to make friends down at your local tractor shop, take my word for it, Yea I work there.
