I have 24.5 four winns boat. It has a mercruiser 454 CI engine. I need to pull the engine out to fix a water leak that is underneath the engine in a place you can’t reach unless you pull the engine out. Does anybody know what an engine of that size weighs. The boat is on a trailer which makes it to high for a cherry picker. I have the use of a small backhoe to pull it out but wanted to make sure it could handle the wieght before I get started.

I can rent a small/medium sized excavator. not a mini, but not a huge one….
will use it mostly to dig out stumps and move some boulders, but do you know if its capable ot pushing over pines and birches up to 6 to 8 inches in diameter? Id love to just level clear an acre or so…..

Got an 18in .chain saw…. will chop up the trees with it, but need a quicker way to fell many trees….
Im in MA on the NH border… very rocky, sandy soil. Mostly pine groves, a few hardwoods.
