Rudely shaped rock, what to do?
The other day I came home to find two guys digging up my garden with a backhoe. (Army housing, don’t ask) They dug up some big rocks, including one that looks like a hand with the middle finger extended! I’m delighted! What should I do with this landscaping gem? I can’t wait to put it to good use!
I know, right? I was thinking about putting it in the battallion commander’s yard (under cover of darkness), but I don’t know. Maybe I could auction it on eBay.

What’s the easiest way to pull an overgrown bush out of the ground?
I own an older home that has 6-8 overgrown “evergreen” bushes in front of the house. I would like to pull them out and prevent future growth. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a backhoe, forklift or crane. I do, however have a 4×4 that I can use… What do you all think?
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to dig my own basement and footers for a new home?
Could I use a rental bobcat with a backhoe attachment? Or do I need more power?
