A company left their backhoe in the middle of my resort property. Rendering me unable to use it. Can I charge them for the 3 days of storage, or bring them up on charges?
It is the resort’s backhoe. They put a sewer cleanout on my property, not the property line, without my permission, did not replace the rocks, after doing work for the day, just left the equipment on my property for 3 days. They own the property next door they should have left it there. Then charged me 75 to mow my grass (less than 4 square feet) My neighbor came out and told them he would mow it and did so. They still charged me. They told me it was my problem.

is due when the backhoe is returned in 2 weeks.

site of the prime contractor Ellis Construction. A 12 year old boy climbed the
fence and broke his leg playing on the backhoe. Jackson, Jacobs and Ellis have
been sued for by the parents for $50,000. The extent of Jackson’s liability
cannot be reasonably determined.
15.8/29Jackson purchased a one year liability insurance policy for $2,700. The policy
period begins September 1.

5.During August, Jackson earned $12,000 of the rental fees McCumber paid in advance on September 8.
6.At August 31, Jackson earned 5 days of rent on the backhoe rented to Jacobs Plumbing.
7.Salaries earned but not paid since the last payroll date amount to $1,000.
8.Jackson’s estimated tax rate is 40% of its income before income taxes. Taxes will be paid September 15.

Balance Sheet.
f.Prepare closing entries for August.

I have a small utility tractor with front loader and backhoe. I used to do a lot of landscaping, but business is way off.
I want to dig fish ponds as part of my services. I need info about supplies and equipment needed after the hole is dug.
Are the things requiring an electrician or plumber? How about the expertise to get the livestock in?
Can anyone suggest a good book or two? Thanks.
In the winter, I do snow removal, but want to take care of indoor fish as well, as I always find myself doing some lousy job between November and March.

I was the grandchild of an excavation company, and was spoilded with the use of a 580K Case backhoe for most of my life, now that is gone. I am looking for a new tractor backhoe/loader with some power for around 10k or 200ish a month. Perfection would be a mini excavator and a skidsteer, but I am in the real world now. All I can seem to find is what I like to call “big lawnmowers” is there any company that offers a big framed tractor at a low price?

There is a construction company building several town homes near my house. They start work at 6am–Monday thru Friday. This seems too early for me. They have their radios blasting and are using a backhoe to break up the side walk. (it is very loud) I believe that they have a right to earn a living but should have to wait until 7am. Does this seem reasonable? What is the law?
