are you sure it’s not a diesel engine??? Most of the heavier equipment runs on diesel…
if its a diesel, you have air in the injector pump and/or the injectors … which you will have to bleed the air off before you can even think of getting it started…
if it’s truly a gasoline engine, you will just have to crank it via the starter for short periods (not to exceed 20 seconds) of time (to prevent damaging / burning up the starter), to refill the gas lines before it will start.
Is it gasoline or diesel? This matters on how to answer your question.
