Is amnesty for illegals just a legalized invasion of the USA?
People say illegals take jobs Americans refuse to do.
They ask, would Americans use hand shovels in the hot sun to dig a hole in the ground like the illegals do?
NO! Americans are smart enough to use a TRACTOR to dig a hole, with a sun shade over the operator’s seat. Americans don’t refuse to work, they just refuse to work STUPID.
But when the contractor wants to dig a hole, all he does is drive around to the parking lot where crowds of illegals stand around waiting for work. He doesn’t have to pay minimum wage to illegals, so he can set his own price. So he can ALWAYS undercut the guy with the backhoe by hiring a half dozen illegal with shovels to do the same job by hand cheaper.
Honest American workers are being put out of work by people who work stupider, because they’re doing it illegally.
What happens when the illegals get citizenship just for being here?
Can the contractor keep paying them below minimum wage?
Or does the backhoe operator suddenly become more affordable, when the contractor can’t just round up a dozen illegals cheaper?
Then all the former illegals go on welfare when they suddenly can’t find work anymore, thanks to the minimum wage laws.
But you can bet they’ll rush out and vote Democrat, because they heard the backhoe operator is a Republican.
Will Americans tolerate this legalized invasion of the USA from a foreign nation?

As you said, they get away with it, because illegals can’t complain to anyone… they have no voice… so if they were legalized, then they would have rights and you would see wages increase… no ?
These supposedly stupid workers are getting all the jobs. That seems pretty smart to me.
What sounds stupid is standing on the sidelines and complaining that the people who are working are stupid. That sounds like something a liberal would do.
They will never fix this problem. Dems get votes and repubs get cheap labor.
Why don’t you ask President Reagan how this was supposed to turn out.
First, there’s been no declaration of amnesty. Second, where the hell have you ever found a backhoe operator who’d work for minimum wage?! Third, if you consider yourself too special to use a shovel, don’t blame people who don’t mind actually working for a living.

America needs to wise up and realize that illegals are also where the drugs are coming from too. Not to mention the crime and so much more that cost our nation a lot of money.
No. What it is is highway robbery by the Mexican government. They encourage illegal immigration because every one of their citizens that is over here is one they don’t have to support or deal with not supporting. The fastest way to end illegal immigration would be to bill the Mexican government for the money it costs us.
